Obituary Overview
Timothy Dankewich
On January 9, 2018, Timothy was granted his wish to be reunited with his cherished wife Rosemary. Their ashes are now mixed together, and resting at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens as their souls explore eternity.
Tim was born to Stephen and Katherine Dankewich on May 17, 1945. Tim met and married Rosemary Harrison, the woman of his dreams, only to lose her after 12 years to Breast Cancer. He was also predeceased by his loving sister Kathy.
He was a teacher who loved working with children and he taught in Transcona for thirty plus years.
Cremation has taken place and at Tim’s request there will be no formal service.
Tim would like to thank his sister Kathy who was his hero and his rock who helped stabilize in life storms. He would also like to thank Anick Spence who worked tirelessly and went beyond what was expected of her. Thanks also to Randy Perkin who would come at a moments notice to do small jobs and just visit.
Donations may be made to the LAM Foundation, the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation or to a charity of one’s choice.
“Enjoy the rest of your lives. I am happy now that I am reunited with my soul mate Rosemary.”
