It is with great
sadness that the family of Timothy Wheaton announces his passing on
Sept 6, 2018 at the Oromocto Public Hospital. Tim was an amazing young
man who had three passions in life. Collecting Transformers, going to
the mall with his buddy Scott to purchase them and watching hockey. He
was a true Toronto Maple Leafs Fan. Tim And Scott hung out every
weekend watching movies or hockey, going to the mall, traveling
together and going to work together. They had a very special bond.
They where like brothers. Tim attended the Oromocto Training and
Employment Centre where he secured a job placement with NBACL (New
Brunswick Association for Community Living). There he developed many
friendships. Especially his friend Rebecca who had the same passion
for transformers. You could ask Tim anything from transformers, to TV
movies and hockey and he could tell the year it was made who played
what team and any actor in any movie. He truly was an amazing young
man who fought many battles with his health. He always called himself
« Wolverine and Optimus Prime » because he never gave up. He
definitely was a fighter and a true hero.
He will be sadly
missed by his chosen family of 19 years, Brenda, Mark, Chloe &
Bradly Noble. Brenda was Tim’s rock who stood by Tim
endlessly. His mother Doreen Williams and stepfather Allen Williams.
His cousins Jason Wheaton & Shelly Wheaton. His best friend
Scott Lynch and all his friends at OTEC and
NBACL.
He was predeceased by
his grandparents John and Mae Wheaton his uncle Murray Wheaton.
We would like to
thank family, friends and medical personnel who where part of
Tim’s life. A special thank you to Kim Rogers and her
medical team at the dialysis department in St. John. Wendy Ring and
her team at Extra Mural Oromocto. Also, we would like to thank Dr.
Leclerc who was there during Tim’s last few days with
us.
In memory of Tim,
donations can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
There will be no
formal visitation or funeral service. There will be a private grave
site ceremony.
