Obituary for Thomas Henry Dorey
It is with great sadness that we have to announce the death of Thomas Henry Dorey, age 57 of West Arichat that occurred at St. Martha’s Regional Hospital in Antigonish on January 6, 2018. Born in Antigonish, he was the son of Margaret (Babin) Dorey of West Arichat and the late Henry Dorey. He is survived by his friend, Debbie Dorey-Landry; step-daughter, Shelly Dorey; and granddaughter Layla Dorey all of West Arichat; brothers, Clarence (Kathleen), U.S.A., Ivan, West Arichat; sisters, Julia Dorey, Edna LeJeune, Colleen Dorey and Colette Dorey all of West Arichat, Nancy Britten (Blair), Arichat. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and his closest and dearest friend, Ivan MacDonald. He was predeceased by his father, Henry Dorey. Thomas loved four wheeling, deer hunting and diving. He was a great man who would do anything for anyone at any time. Visitation will be held Friday, January 12, 2018 in C. H. Boudreau Funeral Home in Arichat from 4 – 9pm. Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 11am in Our Lady of Assumption Church in Arichat with Rev. Michel Exalant officiating. Burial to take place in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in West Arichat at a later date.

MacDonald Nursing Home for the wonderful care given to Thomas during his stay with them. Also to the Doctors, Nurses and staff in the PCU at St. Martha’s Regional Hospital. Your thoughtfulness and kindness will never be forgotten.
