The family announces with great sorrow her passing in Sudbury, Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at the age of 82 years. Wife of 65 years to Roger Chrétien. Daughter of the late Cyprien and Emilia (née Forget) Désormiers. Loving mother of Monique Emond (Richard), Ronald (Nicole) both of Hanmer, Nicole Brosseau (Donald) of Chelmsford and Louis (Mary) of Sudbury. Cherished grandmother of Luke (Ingrid), Robert (Jamie), Natalie, Juliane (Jamie), Alain (Mélanie), Sylvie (Scott), Makenna and great-grandmother of Abella, Amélia, Liliane and Aurélie. Dear sister of Grégoire (Lucille), Jacqueline (Fernand Levac), Françoise Gauthier (Léo), André (Simone), Gérard (late Pauline) (Ginette) all of Sturgeon Falls and Victor (Hélène) of Welland. Predeceased by her siblings Marie Crispin (late Gérald), Georgette Rivard (late Sylvestre), Florian (late Hélène), Aurèle (Gilberte) of Sturgeon Falls, Jules (Gabrielle and Louis Roy) of Sturgeon Falls and Marie Reine Lafrenière (late Robert). Dear sister-in-law of Raymond (late Anita), Jean-Claude (Georgette), Betty (Rod Furchner) both of Sudbury and Gérald (Elva) of Hanmer. Predeceased by her brother-in-law Robert (Viviane) of Garson and sister-in-law Anita (late Roger Tessier). Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury, Friday, August 24, 2018 from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10 a.m. at St-Jean-de-Brébeuf Church, Sudbury.
