Obituary of Theodore Kaulbach
Kaulbach, Theodore Ford “Ted” 84 of Berwick formerly of Bridgetown passed away October 19, 2018 in Valley Regional Hospital with his family by his side. Born in Bridgetown he was a son of the late Ford and Minerva (Smith) Kaulbach. Ted started his working career with the Bank of Nova Scotia and later became a Federal Civil Servant where he worked for 36 years. He was a Boy Scout leader, and a Lay Reader in several parishes for 30 years. Ted loved to cook and go fishing. He was an active supporter of St. Anne’s Anglican Church Camp where he and Marion spent many happy years. His wife Marion was with him throughout his time of failing health.
Ted is survived by his wife of 64 years Marion (Gehue), daughter Heather Anne of Berwick, son Kevin (Susan) of Halifax; grandchildren: Amber Kaulbach and Jenna Kaulbach ( Mike Richey),great granddaughter Sophie; brother Thurston (Shirley) Kaulbach of Ottawa, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister Jean (George) Fairn, brothers: Earl, Donald and Leo.
Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday October 23,2018 from the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Bridgetown with Canon Ken Vaughan officiating. A reception will follow and private family interment will be in Riverside Cemetery.
