PODGURSKI, THEODORE ‘TED’
Peacefully on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at St. Joesph’s Hospital in Hamilton in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of the late Rose ‘Lou” Podgurski (2015).
Dear brother of Sophie Choquette (Nelson) as well as siblings that are predeceased from Cape Breton, N.S.
Dear brother-in-law to Catherine ‘Kay’ Dombroski.
Loved uncle to Patti Gilkes (David), Anne-Lorraine Molloy, Tricia MacNeil, Lois MacDonald, David Thomas, Peter Thomas, John Marusiak, and Bill Choquette.
Special thanks to Caroline Place and St. Joseph’s Hospital for their loving care and attention. And a special thank you to Patti Gilkes for countless hours of support and taxi service.
Ted was a long time foreman and employee of Rheem Canada. He was passionate about fishing and enjoyed going rainbow trout fishing with his wife Lou to Thornbury.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Blessed Sacrament Church on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
