Thelma Marjorie « Toots »
Wilson – 91, Bible Hill, passed away peacefully on
Thursday morning, July 19, 2018, at East Cumberland Lodge, Pugwash.
Born in Riversdale, Colchester County, she was a daughter of the late
Charles and Margaret (MacKay) Boutilier.
Throughout her lifetime, Riversdale remained a cherished
memory, which she enjoyed sharing with others. Following her marriage
to Earl, they moved to West River Station where they spent their
married life. After Earl’s death, Thelma moved to Westville
and later to Bible Hill. In June, she became a resident of East
Cumberland Lodge and during her brief stay there, she appreciated
their loving care and compassion. She had a strong, moral personality,
which was clear to all who knew her, and she made her own decisions to
the very end.
Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her husband,
Earl; brothers, Roy « Bud », Earl
« John », Roland « Jake », Ronald
« Tiddle »; sisters, Hazel and Ella. She is survived
by nieces and nephews and « her girl », Marie
Baillie.
All are welcome to attend a graveside funeral service that
will be held 3:15 p.m., Sunday, July 22, 2018, at Gays River United
Church Cemetery, 421 Gays River Road, Gays River, Reverend Michael
Henderson officiating. If so desired, donations in Thelma’s
memory to Gays River United Church Cemetery are
welcomed.
