Obituary of Thelma Johnston
Thelma Jean Johnston (nee Charlton), of Owen Sound, passed away surrounded by the love of her family, at Summit Place in Owen Sound, on Wednesday evening, January 31st, 2018, at the age of 92 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Carl Johnston. Loving mother of Teresa Miersch and her husband, Ken, of Owen Sound. Proud grandmother of Brooke Miersch and her fiancé, Ryan Walker, of Grey County. Predeceased by her parents, George and Emma Charlton; her siblings, Joyce Charlton, Henry Charlton and Wesley Charlton (Elva).
As per Thelma’s request, there will not be any service at this time. Spring interment in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Georgian Bluffs. If so desired, the family would appreciate donations to the Chapman House Hospice as an expression of sympathy and may be made through the BRIAN E.
