MOULD, Thelma Dolores (nee Prior)
Peacefully passed away, on the morning of July 6th, 2018 at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre, Palliative Care Unit, during sunrise with her family by her side. Mom is now in His loving embrace and with her devoted, dearly departed husband Maurice, her parents Russell and Eva (nee Fryer), brother Leslie, nephew Kevin, and her pets, all of whom she loved so dearly. Thelma is survived by her ever-adoring children Michele (Kelly) and Michael, sisters Patsy (Ian) and Yvonne, brother-in-law Vernon and her many nephews and nieces (Greg, Jeffrey, Heather, and David; Craig and Kent; Charlotte and Montgomery; Valerie and Lauren), as well as many life-long friends and neighbours in Peterborough, at the family cottage, and across the country. Mom was, and always will be, our mentor, best friend, and guiding light. The lessons that you and Dad taught us will always remain, and although we miss you so, our sorrow is comforted in knowing that you and Dad will always be with us and watching over us with your love and affection. Mom’s family would like to express their most sincere and heartfelt thanks to the physicians, nurses, and staff at PRHC’s Emergency, Acute Care, Cancer Centre, and Palliative Care Units for their attentiveness, thoroughness, kindness, and true compassion for Mom and her family throughout this period of her life. In honour and in memory of Thelma’s compassionate and caring spirit, donations to the Canadian Wildlife Federation, the Kawartha Turtle Trauma Centre, the Peterborough Humane Society or PRHC Palliative Care Unit would be appreciated by the family. Relatives and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life Memorial Service and Reception at the NISBETT FUNERAL HOME, 600 Monaghan Road South, Peterborough, ON, on Saturday, July 21st, 2018.
