Obituary of Sylvia Loeprich
LOEPRICH, Sylvia Marilyn (nee Davie) (Aug. 20, 1936 – Jan. 4, 2018)
Sylvia (Syl) passed away gently in the arms of her loving husband, Ed, on Thursday January 4, 2018, in her 82nd year.
Syl was Ed’s beloved wife and soulmate for almost 60 years and leaves behind their two sons, John (Cynthia) and Eddie (Barb) and their four grandchildren, Samantha, Sabrina, Jerica & Dane.
Syl also leaves behind her two brothers, R.H. (Bob) Davie (Jeannie) of Kelowna, British Columbia and Brett Davie (Sandy) of Flin Flon, Manitoba and her sister, Michelle Wedgewood (Jim) of Winnipeg, Manitoba. She was pre-deceased by her sister, Winnie Barrow (Tom) of Calgary, Alberta and her parents R.H. (Pinkie) Davie and Henrietta (Pody) Davie.
We believe that God had a special plan when he brought Syl and Ed together. They were inseparable for over 59 years and enjoyed life to the fullest. They were also fortunate to have spent many winters in Arizona where they made many friends from across Canada and the United States.
Syl will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all those who were touched by her giving nature, sense of fairness, loyalty and love of family. Departed from this world but forever in our hearts.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday January 10, 2018 at J. Scott Early Funeral Home, 21 James Street, MIlton (905) 878-2669 from 6:00 – 9:00 pm, followed by a private family service.
