Sylvain Joseph Maillet
1931-2018
At the Western Hospital, Alberton, on Friday, March 2, 2018,
of Sylvain Joseph Maillet, of Tignish, age 86 years. Born at
Tignish on June 10, 1931, he was the son of the late Leo C. and Eva M.
(nee Gaudet) Maillet.
Dear brother to Nelson of Tignish and Cecil (Gloria) of
Summerside.
He is survived by his nephews, Jonathan (Leila) Maillet of
Cochrane, B.C., and Mark Maillet of Calgary Alberta. Great uncle to
MacKenzie and Parker Maillet.
He was predeceased by his parents and by a brother
Gerard.
Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home & Chapel,
Alberton. Visiting hours Sunday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Monday
morning from St. Simon & St. Jude Church, Tignish,
for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m., Rev. Brendon Gallant,
Celebrant.
Interment later in the Church Cemetery. As an expression of
sympathy, memorials to St. Simon & St. Jude Restoration Fund
or to St. Simon and St. Jude Cemetery Fund would be gratefully
appreciated.
