Obituary of Suzanne Morin
“It’s hard to forget someone who gave you so much to remember.”
Passed away peacefully with family at her side at Spencer House, Orillia on Monday, November 26, 2018 at the age of 76. Born in North York in 1942 to Lucien and Jacqueline Morin (Miquelon), Suzanne pursued her studies at The University of Toronto where she obtained a Masters in Education and began her career as a French teacher. Suzanne will be dearly missed by her extended family, friends and countless former students to whom she taught at St. Gabriel’s and St. Agnes Catholic schools for 20 years. Survived by her daughter Chantal Mara (Fex) and husband Shaun, and her son Marc Fex and his wife Wendy (Kea). Dearly loved by her five grandchildren who will be forever grateful for the many memories created at Six Mile Lake and at her ‘home away from home’ in Ajijic, Mexico. Predeceased by her sister Michelle Skolnick (Morin). Survived by her brother Joseph Morin. As per her wishes cremation has taken place and a private memorial service will be held in the spring. As an expression of sympathy, donations in memory of Suzanne may be made to support
Parkinson’s research at Michael J. Fox Foundation. (www.michaeljfox.org)
