At the family farmhouse on Thursday, May 24, 2018, surrounded by her family, fond memories and so much love, Susan Mode of Vankleek Hill passed away at the age of 61. Beloved daughter of the late Shirley and Archie Borland. Devoted loving wife and best friend of Bruce. Proud and caring mother of Shauna Herdé (Martin), Heidi Smith (Hunter), Kerri Albright (Chace) and Kelsey LeRoy (Tim). Special fun loving Grandma to Abby, Emma, Tucker, Brier, Cooper, Tanner, Harper, Camden and Braelynn. Dearly loved sister of Julie Leduc (Rick), Beth Fanning (Ralph) and Steve Borland (Amy). Sadly missed by her nieces and nephews. Fond daughter-in-law of the late Sydney and Margaret Mode. Family and friends are invited to share memories and Celebrate Susan’s Life on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 from 1:30 to 5 pm at the Vankleek Hill Curling Club 136 Bond Street, Vankleek Hill.
