Hare, Stuart Reginald (Warrant Office – Royal Canadian Regiment, Retired)
Died peacefully on Monday, June 25, 2018 at the General & Marine Hospital, Collingwood at the age of 89. Stu of Wasaga Beach, beloved husband of Jackie and of the late Betty (2010). Dear father of Wayne, David (Wanda) and Dallas (Val) and of Jackie’s children Patrick, Bobby (Kelly), Theresa (Craig) and Peter (Cathy). Cherished grandfather of many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is predeceased by his sisters Eleanore and Margaret. Stu will also be missed by his nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends. He was a long time member of the Prime Time Club, loved to fish, participate in sports, particularly darts and he was a devoted Toronto Blue Jays fan. He will be missed. Friends will be received at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home – Stayner Chapel, 7313 Highway 26, Stayner on Saturday, June 30, 2018 from 12 noon for the Memorial Service in the Chapel at 1 o’clock. Reception to follow at the Prime Time Club, Wasaga Beach. Interment at a later date at Stayner Union Cemetery. If desired, a donation to Wounded Warriors Canada or the Collingwood General & Marine Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by Stu’s family.
