It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing Steve of Rocky View County, Alberta on Monday, October 15, 2018 at the age of 57 years. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 23 years, Kathy (nee Miller) of Rocky View County, Alberta; son Stevie; daughter Zoey; sister Del Maynard of Calgary, Alberta and her sons, Cole and Cody as well as their father Craig; sister Susan (Julius) Kirsch of Ellerslie, PEI, and her sons, Carl and Miles; brother-in-law, Mop (Sharon) Miller of Spruce Grove, Alberta, and their son, Dakota; sister-in-law, Michelle (Ed) Jahnke of Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan, and their daughters, Melissa (Russ) Pelley; great-nephews, Josh, Jake, Willy and great-niece, McCartney of Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan; Teresa (Travis) Kiel, grandniece Katie and great-nephew Cody of Coldstream, British Columbia; Sandra Jahnke (Dan) of Calgary; sister-in-law, Colleen Miller of Calgary, Alberta; sister- in-law, Tracy Moggy of Rocky Mountain House, Alberta, and daughter Angelina (Allan), great-niece Sofie, and daughters, Alyssa, and Anita; Steve was predeceased by his parents, Steve and Vivien Kaszas, as well as his parents-in-law, Len and Bev Miller. Steve will be remembered as the most loving husband, father, brother, brother in law, uncle and great-uncle and a great-friend to many people. Steve was born in Calgary on April 13, 1961 and resided in the Calgary area his entire life. At the time of his passing, Steve was employed at Telus. He was also actively involved with 1st Airdrie Scouts for many years. Steve was an avid reader, and enjoyed skiing, camping, fishing, drawing and spending time with his family and friends. Steve had the zest for life with so many accomplishments and strengths. A Memorial Service will be held at the Town & Country Centre in Airdrie, Alberta, 275 Jensen Dr NE #103, on Monday, November 5, 2018 at 2:00 pm.
