Steven A. Moses
Steven A. Moses, 74, of K. E. Spencer Memorial Home, passed
away peacefully at his residence on Sunday, January 21, 2018. Born in
Long Reach, Kingston Peninsula, NB, he was the son of the late Ralph
and Mildred Moses.
Steven was retired from CNR with 39
years’ service and was a member of Uplands Baptist Church.
He had a passion for hunting and was very active in gun shows. Steven
enjoyed his motorcycle and loved to talk and socialize with family and
friends.
Steven will be sadly missed by his
wife, Kathy (Beers) Moses of Moncton; children, Yvonne Smith
(Charles), Lisa MacFarlane (William), Patricia Moses and Andrea
Knudson (Joseph); stepchildren, Jennifer Leslie, Melissa Leslie (Adam)
and Christopher Leslie (Natalie); grandchildren, Jennifer, Alexander,
Justin, Jamie, Maxwell, Jillian, Ryan, Hunter, Rowan and Leah; step
grandchildren, Samuel, Branden, Jasper, Alexis, Wyatt and Anson; great
grandchildren, Landon, Waylon, Oliver, Evelynn and Charlotte;
mother-in-law, Rita Beers; several extended family
members. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by
his son, Darren.
The family would like to thank the
staff at K. E. Spencer Memorial Home, Apple Grove, especially Jack
Duguay, for the love and care given to Steven during his
stay.
A Service to celebrate and honour
Steven’s life will be held from Uplands Baptist Church, 398
Salisbury Road, Moncton on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 2:00 pm, with
Rev. Gordon James leading the service. Reception following the
service. Interment will be held in St. Paul’s Anglican
Cemetery, Brown’s Yard in the
spring.
Arrangements under the professional
guidance and care of Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road,
Moncton (858-1995).
