Stella Maud « Peggy » Doull
Doull, Stella Maud “Peggy”, age 81, of Lower Sackville, passed away very peacefully surrounded by her family on September 27th 2018, at Oceanview Continuing Care Centre.
Born in Terrance Bay, NS, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Evelyn Slaunwhite.
Peggy had a wonderful presence, contagious smile, and was loved by all who knew her. She loved to dance, and woke up singing a song every morning. She loved company, her door was always open and one never left with an empty stomach. Her passion was her family. Peggy was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and friend and will be missed by all, but she has finally found her way home.
Survived by her husband, Richard Doull; daughters, Carol (Chip) Murray, Halifax, Victoria (Garth) Faloon, Mount Uniacke; sons, James (Linda) Sawler, Ontario, Douglas Sawler, Lower Sackville, Gordon (Kathy) Sawler, Dartmouth, Michael Sawler, Lower Sackville; step-daughter, Garnetta Doull, Fall River; step-son, Darren Doull, Calgary; sisters; Hilda, Kathleen, Gloria, and Paulette; nineteen grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Besides both parents, Peggy was predeceased by her first husband, Prescott H. Sawler; sisters, Angel, and Debbie; brothers, Bobby, and Sam, and great-grandson, Austin Prescott.
A Celebration of Life will be held in St. Francis by the Lakes Anglican Church in Lower Sackville on Wednesday October 3rd, at 11:00 am with reception to follow in the church hall. Interment will take place in Oakridge Memorial Gardens following the reception.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to charity of one’s choice.
