On May 20, 2018, our beloved Stella Glen peacefully passed away at Touchmark Emerald Memory Care. Stella will be fondly remembered for her classy style, enduring smile and infectious sense of humour.
Stella will be lovingly missed by her three daughters, Debbie (Sam) McDougall, Sandra Moher, and Cathy (Wayne) Anderson; and son, William Glen. Mom leaves behind 9 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, sister-in-law Marylou Main, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 61 years, William “Bill” Glen; parents, Blanche and Euclide Comeault; sisters, Raye (René) Prince, and Roberta (Rodney) Matthews; son-in-law Eric Moher; and brother-in-law Douglas Main.
Stella was an avid golfer and Toronto Blue Jays superfan. She loved to travel, spending many winters with Bill in Solana Beach, California.
The family are grateful to Dr. Janet Craig as well as the dedicated team at Touchmark for their compassion.
A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 28, 2018, at Holy Cross Cemetery, 14611 Mark Messier Trail, Edmonton.
A Funeral Liturgy will take place the following day at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 29, 2018, at Touchmark at Wedgewood in the Marquis Room, 18333 Lessard Road, Edmonton.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Stella’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the MS Society of Canada.
