Stella David
1927-2018
Mrs. Stella (Duguay) David formerly of
Big River passed away suddenly and peacefully at the Moncton Hospital
Saturday September 1, 2018, at the age of
91.
Loving wife of 43 wonderful years to the
late Ernest David. Born in St-Isidore, she was the daughter of the
late Ferdinand and Sephonie (Chiasson) Duguay.
The
most wonderful gift Stella could ever give us is the special part of
her that now lives on in each one of
us.
To know her was to love her, her family
was her most precious gift.
She is adored by
her children: late Dianna Ross (Cléophas),
Gérald (Claudette), Théodore (Gloria), Claudette
Thibodeau (Raymond), late Alfred (Jocelyne), Pierre (Rose), Pierrette
(Robert), Georgette Scott (Harry) all of Bathurst, Mona Brideau
(Edward) of Halifax, NS and Edward Gray (Diane) of Thunder Bay,
ON.
She was
predeceased by three young sons but never forgotten Romeo, Gilbert and
Laurie.
Twenty five
grandchildren, thirty four great-grandchildren and she was
Mémère to so many more…..
Two
sisters: Diana Hebert (Maurice) of Oshawa, ON and Rita
Pouliotte (Garth) of Calgary, AB. One brother,
Edmond Duguay (Rachel) of St-Catherines,
ON.
Predeceased by sisters and brothers,
Catherine, Yvonne, Lumina, Bernadette, Sévère
(infant), Omar, Sévère and
Wilfred.
We celebrate the
life of Stella with thankful hearts and her faith believing that
beauty and peace awaits her. She prayed faithfully for everyone and
she will continue to watch over
us.
The family will
receive relatives and friends at Elhatton’s Funeral Home
(www.elhatton.com), Bathurst, on Friday September 7, 2018 from 2 to 4
and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday
September 9, 2018 at 10 a.m. from Our Lady of the Rosary Church, St.
Peter Ave., Bathurst. Donations in memory of Stella may be
made to The Children’s Wish Foundation, Cancer Society or a charity of
the donors choice.
