It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, grandma (guppa), sister and friend Marion Stack, 64, of Nelson BC. Who passed away suddenly on April 17, 2018 with family by her side while visiting New Zealand.
Marion was born in Vancouver, British Columbia in November 1953, the oldest of 4 children. She spent her childhood on Vancouver Island. Later moving to Nelson BC to attend Notre Dame University College. She shortly after married Bill Stack in 1975 with whom she spent her life with in Nelson BC. In 1993 they adopted their two children from Peru. Marion retired from BC Assessment in 2015, where she spent many happy years of dedicated work. Marion enjoyed gardening, traveling and paddling with the Kootenay Rhythm Dragons.
She will be lovingly remembered by daughter Jessica (Terence) Stack, son Tyler Stack; grandson Spencer Rock; Partner Lloyd Mosely; Brothers Blair (Marilyn), David (Debbie), and Brian Noel; Brothers-in-law Bob (Karen) Stack, Frank Bourgeois and John Stack; Nieces and nephews Kaylee Boretta-McLeod, Drew Bourgeois and Raymond Stack.
Marion was preceded in death by her late husband Bill Stack and parents Margaret and Charles Noel.
