Obituary of Siobhan Rickard
RICKARD, Siobhan Vivien
Passed away in the evening on September 25, 2018 at Strathroy Middle General Hospital, at the age of 75 years. Siobhan was predeceased by her daughter Becky, her son Chris her father Philip and her mother Oonah. Left to grieve are her husband Doug Long, her sons Jon, Blair, and Scott Arnot, her step daughters Elaine Mercer and Jacqueline Karhunen, her daughters in law Won Arnot, Melany Arnot, and Tammy Ferris, her grandchildren Ali, Ashton, Sophia, Colton, Roxanne, and Emma.
Siobhan was an avid bridge player, a Registered Nurse, a lover of scratch tickets, good food, travel, people, her grandchildren, her sons and their wives, antiques, Native art and life in general.
Siobhan worked in Toronto and Thunder Bay as an R.N. and for Abitibi Price and the Lakehead school board as Occupation Health Nurse. She owned Circa Antiques along with her husband. She will be missed. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will take place at Watford United Church on Friday, October 5, 2018, at 11:00 am. Interment to take place at a later date. For those who wish, in memoriam donations may be made to one’s local food bank would be appreciated by the family.
