Courtenay succumbed to breast cancer after a courageous two year battle. She is survived by her partner Fred Davies, father John, brother Drew and family, and by many aunts, cousins and dear friends. Courtenay was a selfless woman who touched the lives of many with her kindness and empathy, especially toward children and animals. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the North Island Wildlife Recovery Centre, or the Palliative Care Unit at Vancouver General Hospital.
We will be gathering in honour of her life on January 12, 1-4 pm at 501 Pacific Street, Vancouver
