Simone Judith Catherine McKeiver (nee DeForge)
McKeiver, Simone Judith Catherine (nee DeForge) passed away peacefully at home on September 11, 2018, surrounded by her family and friends at the age of 57. Beloved wife to Don, and loving mother to Morgan (Josh Brundle) and Leah. Predeceased by her parents Margaret « Peggy » and Thomas DeForge. Cherished sister of Deb Mills, John DeForge, Dan DeForge (Lynn), Louise DeForge, Pete DeForge, Ramona Bauman (Wayne) and Rosemarie DeForge (Gord Evans). Predeceased by her sisters and brother-in-laws, Michelle Iliffe (Don), Marielle Collins (Mike) and Dan Mills. Dear niece to Jeanne Keaney and lifelong friend to Krista Diclemente (Walter). Adored daughter-in-law to Teresa (predeceased) and George McKeiver and his companion Betty Gaylord. Dear sister-in-law to Margi Moloney (Clare), Mike McKeiver (Ethel), Tom McKeiver (Mary), Pete McKeiver (Kate), Anne Malone (Tom Peckham), Cathy McKeiver, Rita Sullivan (Al), and predeceased by Jack McKeiver. Simone will be missed by her many cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and friends.
Simone’s family would like to extend their sincere thanks to Dr. Michael Gibson and his Palliative Care team, as well as Father Bill Moloney for their exceptional care of Simone.
There will be a visitation on Sunday September 16, 2018 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm at Ashburnham Funeral Home, 840 Armour Road. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Monday, September 17, 2018 at 10 am at Immaculate Conception Church, 386 Rogers Street. An inurnment will take place at St. Peter’s Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Simone’s name to the PRHC Palliative Care Unit or Hospice Peterborough.
