After a life well lived, the last 23 years with Parkinson’s Disease, we the family of Sidney James “Jim” Haiste announce his passing at age 87.
His memory is cherished by his children and stepchildren: Patrick (Karen), Cynthia, Patricia, Daniel, and Eric (Cheraty); his brothers Cliff Haiste (June) and Bob Haiste (Audrey); and by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Jim was predeceased by his wife Catherine (Barclay), his first wife Betty (Funnell), his brother Grant Haiste, his son Chris Haiste, grandson Ryan Haiste and great-grandson Jaiden Mah.
A Celebration of Life will take place at 2:00 PM on Friday, August 24th, 2018 at
St. Patrick’s Anglican Church, 344 Knottwood Road North NW Edmonton, AB. Fellowship and food to follow at St. Patrick’s.
Memorial donations in Jim’s honour may be made to the Parkinson’s Society of Alberta and to St. Patrick’s Anglican Church.
