Shirley Marie Light
LIGHT (Johnson), Shirley Marie, of Dartmouth passed away on February 5, 2018 with her loving husband Edward at her side. Born in Trouty, Trinity Bay, NL, she was daughter to the late James and Mary Johnson. She is predeceased by her brother Emil Johnson. Shirley will be greatly missed and forever in the hearts of her husband Edward Light , to whom she was married for 57 years; son, Edward (Christina) Light Jr.; daughter, Laura (Clark) Piercey; granddaughters, Sharayah, Natalie, and Emily, her treasures. She leaves behind a long list of family and friends who loved her dearly and who will miss her tremendously. Service of memory and celebration to take place Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Forest Hills Fellowship Baptist Church, 915 Cole Harbour Rd, Dartmouth, NS. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to the Diabetes Association.
