What a gift she was to all who knew her! Shirley Green peacefully passed away with her children by her side April 5th, 2018 after a brave battle with cancer. She is predeceased by her husband Alan Green, her parents, brother and sisters. Loved by her four children Kathy (Dave) Klune, Mike Green, Cindy (Kim) Labbe, and Joe Green. The coolest and most fun Granny to Mike (Tara) Ryan, Annie (Josh) Ryan, Joe Labbe, Jenny Inch, Shellena Green. Shirley adored her great grandchildren Eve, Tiffany, Mason, Ruby and Paisley. She will be missed by so many friends made throughout her life with her involvement in swim clubs, church, bowling, volunteering and her 30 years as a well loved and respected secretary with the Niagara South Board of Education. As we wait for all her family and friends to arrive from out of town, we have planned a Celebration of Life at the JAMES L. PEDLAR FUNERAL HOME, 1292 Pelham Street, Fonthill on Saturday April 28th with visitation taking place from 10 – 11am. The family would love for you to join us after the service for dessert and coffee as we share our memories of this wonderful lady together. Shirley would appreciate High Mass cards in her name or donations to a charity of choice.
