Sherrill’s Obituary
HARDY (DeMont) Sherrill Sandra ~ Age 79, Millville, Kings Co., formerly of St. Croix, Hants Co., passed away peacefully on Monday, December 31, 2018, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born on March 10, 1939, in Windsor, she was a daughter of the late Frederick and Hattie DeMont. Sherrill grew up in a loving home on Hartville Road, God’s country and following completion of high school at Windsor Academy married Pat Hardy. She was an exceptional cook, avid gardener, enjoyed camping and loved spending time with her family. Following completion of high school at Windsor Academy and later married Pat Hardy. Surviving are son, Joe (Debbie) Hardy, Windermere; granddaughter, Katherine; grandson, Daniel; siblings, Barbara Barkhouse; June MacDougal; Ruben (Betty) DeMont; Rosemary Mosher; Beverly Fletcher; Glenna (James) Dempsey; Celeste DeMont; brothers-in-law, Wayne Williams and Gordon Dearman. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a son, William Matthew Hardy; sister, Margaret Williams; brother, Frederick DeMont. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. All are welcome to attend a memorial service at 1:30 p.m., Friday, January 4, in Berwick Baptist Church, with Chaplain Jennifer Longley officiating. A reception will follow in the Chipman Annex of the church. Interment in Berwick Cemetery.
