Obituary of Shelley Elliott
ELLIOTT, Shelley
Passed away peacefully at the Douglas Memorial Hospital on Sunday, November 25th, 2018 at age 57. She is survived by her daughter Jessica Elliott, mother Joyce Elliott, sister Kim (Al) Bishop, brother Gary (Lynne) Elliott, nephews Jason Mattie, Peter (Kristen) Elliott, and Brandon Bishop. Predeceased by her father, Robert Elliott (2008).
Shelley met and worked with many wonderful people over the years and has fond memories of coworkers, customers, and residents from Niagara Foto, Davies Stationary, Avondale, and Portal Village.
Special thanks to those who helped her through this final stage, Peggy, Joan, Joyce, Kim, Karen, Debbie, and especially Jessica.
Thanks to the Walker Family Cancer Centre for all their kind and professional care.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place with arrangements entrusted to the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 179 Clarence Street, Port Colborne.
There will be a Celebration of Life at the Port Colborne Legion on December 1st, 2018 from 12-3 p.m. Please refrain from wearing black as this is a celebration and a time to share your favourite memories of Shelley.
In honour of Shelley, donations can be made to the Port Colborne Feline Initiative. Shelley spent a lot of money taking in strays, and this humane organization helps lessen the burden on cat ladies.
