Sharon Lynn Sherwood
1967-2018
It is with
heavy hearts, the family of Sharon Sherwood announce her unexpected
passing at her home on January 2, 2018 at the age of
50.
Sharon was
the loving mother of her only son, Bruce and a daughter of Gerald and
the late Hilda (Flynn) Sherwood.
She worked
tirelessly to ensure her son didn’t go without.
Sharon was employed with Safety First as a Flagger and was loved by
all who knew her. She enjoyed cooking, cleaning and loved
the fact that she was able to feed anyone and everyone who came to her
home. Sharon loved to dance, listen to country music and
always looked forward to the Saturday lunches with her
father.
In addition
to her father, Gerald and son, Bruce, Sharon is also survived by her
six sisters, Ann, Linda, Debbie, Cathy, Terry and Eileen; as well as
several nieces and nephews.
Resting at
Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111
Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Friday, January
5, 2018 from 2:00 – 8:00 PM. The Funeral Liturgy will be
held from Brenan’s Chapel on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at
10:00 AM. Interment will take place in Fernhill Cemetery on
Monday, January 8, 2018 at 11:00 AM.
For those who
wish, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or
a charity of the donor’s
choice.
