It is with deep regret that I have to announce the passing of Sharon Harbridge.
She battled cancer and other ailments for many years and finally became too tired to continue on.
Sharon filled many shoes in her life; bar manager, manager of Kootenay Hearing Aide & Audiology Clinic, Executive Director of the Trail & District United Way, manager of West Kootenay We Care and owner of her own home health care business, “Abia”.
She loved small children in particular. We could never go shopping without her stopping multiple times to adore children that she had never met before. That was quintessential Sharon.
I loved Sharon but she always gave back as much or more than she got.
She was born in Charlottetown, PEI, raised in Nanaimo, BC and lived in Rossland and Trail since 1972.
Sharon is survived by her husband Dale, her daughters Courtney (Ryan) and Jennifer, step-daughters Amanda (Jeff) and Maegan (Marco), her step-son Zach (Kim) and many, many grandchildren and Ken.
A Memorial Service will take place in the springtime at the Trail Royal Canadian Legion Branch #11. Al Grywacheski of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services™ has been entrusted with arrangements.
You are invited to leave a personal message of condolence.
God speed your journey. Love you forever. Dale.
Nos plus sincères sympathies à la famille et aux amis de Sharon Harbridge October 23rd 2018..
