Sharon Darlene Brown
1965-2018
It is with great sorrow that we announce the
passing of Sharon Brown of Wolfville on Wednesday, November 21, 2018,
age 53. Sharon will be forever missed by daughter, Cassandra (Joe) and
granddaughter, Elissa of Wolfville Ridge; brother, Chris (Rose) Baker
of Hubbards, and nephew Sam Baker of Halifax; sister, Pam (Greg) Riley
of Mount Denson, and nephew, Nathaniel Riley and his wife Kelsey Pineo
of Kentville; sister, Alma Rickards of Hampden Me., and nephews, Peter
Rickards of Portland Me.; David Rickards of Austin, Tex.; and niece,
Andrea Rickards and her husband, Spencer Reuillard of Portland, Me.
Sharon was predeceased by her loving parents, Judy (Baker) Brown of
Falmouth; and Arthur Brown of Tenecape, and by her loving dog, Candy.
Thank you so much to Dr. Salazar and the staff of the Mud Creek
Medical Co-op who treated Sharon with the utmost care, compassion and
respect. Thank you to the Wolfville Baptist Church Food Bank who
supported not only Sharon but all those in need in the community. The
family invites all those who knew and loved her to join us in
celebrating Sharon’s life on Sun-day, November 25th, from 2-6 p.m. in
the Horton Community Hall located at 11794 Highway 1 in Grand
Pré. It will be a time to remember Sharon for the kind,
loving and generous person that she always tried to be. Please join us
and share your stories of how much Sharon meant to you. In lieu of
flowers, a donation to the SPCA or the Wolfville Baptist Church Food
Bank or to a charity of your choice is appreciated. Arrangements have
been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation
Services, Kentville.
