Lovingly Remembered
With great sadness we announce the passing of Sarah Margaret (Sally) Gallinari. She was a light in our lives and our time with her was our privilege and gift. Sally touched the lives and hearts of all who crossed her path. She did, indeed, love life!
Sally was a member of the Glencoe Club, The Ranchmen’s Club, the Grand Opera Club of Calgary and the Calgary Women’s Literary Club (the oldest club in Calgary). She was an avid Patron of the Arts and enjoyed trail riding in the Rockies. She lived many years in Italy and Africa and loved reading, traveling and gardening.
Sally is survived by her two children and their spouses, Jane (Timothy) Martin and John (Paolo) Gallinari; her four grandchildren, Julia, Andrew, Sarah and Gulia; and numerous family members. She was predeceased by her older brothers John and Julius O’Connor.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, May 4, 2018 at Sacred Heart Church, 1307 – 14 St SW, at 10:00 a.m. If friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Sally’s name may be made to Covenant House Vancouver, 575 Drake St, Vancouver, BC V6B 4K8, Tel: 604-685-7474, www.covenanthousebc.org.
