Sarah Laurel Hall
October 24, 1980 – April 19, 2018
Sarah was our free spirit with an enormous heart and an endless desire to help others. She could always be seen with a smile on her face, share an infectious laugh to cheer you up or give a hug to make you feel loved. We will always treasure Sarah’s beautiful smile, loving eyes and her deep heartfelt laughter. Sarah’s fun sense of humour and her compassion and kindness towards others is a great loss.
Sarah passed away peacefully after suffering a ruptured brain aneurysm. She will be dearly missed by many including “Big Brother” Bryan, Jessica (Rouw); Twin Sister Tamson, Shawn (Benson); Super Fun Loving Aunt “Sasa” of Mya, Nash, Jamie, Cheyanne and Josephine and parents Paul & Janice (Baker). Sarah will be deeply missed by Second Mom to Alyn Tracey and loving friend Bruce Longman along with numerous Aunts, Great Aunts, Uncles and Cousins – 1st, 2nd & 3rd!
A special Thank You to all the ICU Nurses, Doctors, Surgeons and auxiliary staff at Kingston General Hospital. Notably Dr. Gordon Boyd for his support and guidance throughout. Also Michelle and Matt at Trillium Gift of Life for their assistance during the organ donation process. Sarah was surrounded by those she loved most as she embarked on her next adventure. May she find her peace and dance among the stars for eternity. Friends are invited to call at the MacCoubrey Funeral Home, 30 King Street East, Cobourg on Wednesday from 5-8 pm and to attend a celebration of life on Thursday April 26th from 6-9 pm at the Lions Community Centre, 157 Elgin Street East, Cobourg. A private family burial will be held Thursday.
In lieu of flowers we wish to carry on Sarah’s effort to help others by asking for any donations to be made to charitable organizations in the Cobourg Area that help those in need, the Salvation Army Cobourg and Cornerstone.
