Sandra died peacefully at Saint-Louis Residence in Orleans, Ontario from complications of Multiple Sclerosis. Sandra was a strong, independent and intelligent woman who embraced her roles as a beloved wife to Kenneth, mother to Allison(Robert), Stephanie and Laura (Robbie), grandma to Emma, Caleigh, Audrey and George, sister to Christine and Wanda. She is predeceased by her parents Shirley and Steve Baburek. Sandra was a dearly loved friend to all who knew her and highly regarded teacher who easily gained the respect of her colleagues and students over her more than thirty years in the profession. As a family we all agree that she was the strongest person we have ever known. A private family goodbye has taken place. A Celebration of Sandra’s Life for family and friends will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2018 from 1 to 5 pm at her Vankleek Hill home. The family thanks the dedicated home care and residence staff who have cared for Sandra as her health declined. In lieu of flowers a donation to the charity of your choice that supports children would be appreciated.
