Sandra McLauchlan
1944-2018
It is with sadness that the family
of Sandra McLauchlan announces her death which occurred on
Friday, October 5, 2018 at the Moncton Hospital.
Born in
Bathurst, NB, a daughter of the
late Norman (Eveline Roy) Chiasson and Dorothy « Doris » Blin
who died giving birth.
Sandra’s greatest joy came
from time spent with her family. Her heart abounded with love for her
children and grandchildren. She always spoke of her children with such
pride and admiration, and her eyes would light up with warmth at the
sight of her grandchildren. Sandra devoted her life to her family and
will be remembered by her loved ones for both her kindness and
compassion.
She is survived by her son Marc (Nadia
Leblanc) of Cap Pelé, daughter Laura (late James) Middleton
of Moncton; grandchildren Mia, Ben, Reid; sisters Bernadette (John)
Richard and Claudette (Scott) Poupart both of Bathurst; brothers
Donald (Paulette) Chiasson, Judd (Paula) Chiasson, Junior Chiasson,
David (Armella) Chiasson, Michel Chiasson, Maurice (Therese Levesque)
Chiasson, Jean Claude (Caroline Henry) Chiasson all of Bathurst; as
well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased
by her husband, David
McLauchlan.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the
care of Elhatton’s Funeral Home, 187 St. George St.,
Bathurst, NB (506-546-2716) where visitation will be held
on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 from 7-9pm. Funeral
Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at 11 a.m. from
the Holy Family Church, St. Peter Ave.,
Bathurst.
Donations in memory of Sandra may be
made to the Canadian Red Cross or to the charity of the
