Samantha Chase (née Simone Broome) passed away unexpectedly from a heart attack on Monday, November 5th, 2018 at the young age of 56.
Those who knew her would agree, Sam was a VERY special, loving, generous, fun-loving, creative, brilliant, animal and underdog advocating, selfless, courageous, humble, lovable soul and doting mother to her dogs Dudley and Carlos, and her cats Leo, Lily and Oliver. She will be greatly missed by her brother Keith Mitchell; her cosmic family Ginette Richardson, Nicole Richardson and Andrew Vandette; as well as her blended family trio of her birth-son David and adoptive mother and father Betty and Peter Jakob. The many friends whose lives she has touched will remember her fondly as well. She is gone far too soon. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 18 at 3 pm in the chapel of James Reid Funeral Home. Friends will be received from 2-3 p.m. on Sunday.
