Pauline Rafuse
Rafuse (Hannam), Ruth “Pauline”, age 87, of Dartmouth, passed away on February 10, 2018 in Dartmouth General Hospital, surrounded by her family.
Born in Bridgetown, she was a daughter of the late Myrtle and Reginald Hannam.
Pauline worked for over 35 years with the Dartmouth School Board. She loved to play bingo and watch Coronation Street. She liked to go for drives and spend time with family. She was the last surviving member of her family of 13.
Pauline is survived by her daughters Sheila (Blair) Gammon, Shirley (Barry) Doyle; sons, Blair (Gail) Walker, Sutton (Ethel) Walker; 16 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and one on the way; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by husband Moyle and her first husband Sutton Walker Sr.; sons, Harry Walker, David and Kevin Rafuse; and all of her siblings.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 7-9pm on Tuesday February 13, in Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main Street, Dartmouth. The funeral service will take place at 11am on Wednesday February 14 in the funeral home chapel with a reception to follow. Burial in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hope for Wildlife.
