Ruth passed away peacefully at the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital in Bracebridge, on October 29, 2018. Born to Charles and Olive Goddard on August 4, 1923. She married the late Archie Ball on February 3, 1940. Together they had four children – Eleanor Davis (Jack deceased), Norman (Patricia), Karen Medley (Murray) and Thomas (Laura). She is survived by her sister Marion Blanchard and the late Emily Conway. She will be sadly missed by her 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and John Pratt predeceased and 6 great- great grandchildren.
Ruth’ wishes were that no formal funeral will take place however a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. We would like to thank Dr. Whynot and all the nursing staff for the wonderful care and compassion they showed mother during her time in the Hospital. We would also like to thank the staff and residence of Castle Peak for making her six months of living there very enjoyable.
