Mrs. Ruth Mott
On Saturday April 7th, 2018, Mrs. Ruth Mott of Chatham in her 90th year passed away peacefully with family by her side. Cherished daughter of the late Leonard and Ada Lewis. Loving mother of Jim Mott and Debbie Holmes of Pain Court, and dear mother-in-law of Stuart Ellerbeck. Loving grandmother of A.J., Jasmine (B.J.), Justin, Tiffany, Zach (Amy), Graham (Jena) and Tiffany (Jay) and Angela, and great grandmother of Max, Mason, Emitt, and Bronwyn. Ruth is survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her best friend and companion Don Labonte (2002), son Ray Whale (1970) and daughter Linda Mott (2015), sisters Opal James, Ruby Giffard, Beulah McClure, and Elenore Lewis, and brothers Leonard, and Stanley Lewis. Family and friends are invited to the Alexander & Houle Funeral Home, 245 Wellington West, Chatham, 519-352-2710 on Thursday April 12th with visiting from 12 noon to 2 p.m. A graveside service will follow at Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham.
