Ruth Melanson
1923-2018
A. Ruth
Melanson, 95, of Moncton, passed away peacefully at The Moncton
Hospital on Sunday September 23,
2018.
Born in
Summerside, PEI, she was the daughter of the late Llewellyn and Audrey
(Graves) Rogers.
Ruth was a
loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great
grandmother and sister. She enjoyed bowling and playing cards and was
a member of Moncton Legion Branch No. 6 Seniors
Association.
Ruth will be
sadly missed by her daughter, Kathryn Peachey (Michael) of Kingston,
ON and son, Don Melanson (Wanda) of Moncton; grandchildren, Sharon
Ward, Kimberly Peachey, Korinne Peachey (Nick), Lynn Killam (Sheldon),
David Melanson, Mark LeBlanc (Jill) and Michelle Arsenault (Marc);
great grandchildren, Emily, Justin,
Maddison, Parker, Jackson, Connor, Luke, Molly, Katelynn,
Peter and Michael and; great great grandson, Braydon; sister Marion
Jardine of Lethbridge AB and several nieces, nephews and extended
family members.
In addition
to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, David
« Cab » Melanson (1996); daughter, Judith Leblanc; brothers,
Ralph, Art, Brud and Gordon and sister,
Claudia.
A special
Thank-you to the loving and caring staff of ProTem Health Services and
the Dr’s and nurses of the Palliative Care Unit at The
Moncton Hospital for their exceptional
care.
Respecting
Ruth’s wishes, there will be no visitation hours or funeral
service. A graveside service will be held in the People’s
Cemetery. Summerside, PEI at a later date.
Arrangements
under the professional care of Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain
Road, Moncton (858-1995).

the Friends of The Moncton Hospital would be
appreciated.
