Ruth May
MAY: Alice « Ruth » Louise May passed away at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at the age of 89 years. Ruth was born February 27, 1929 in Killarney. Ruth married John May in 1953, and they were blessed with a daughter, Sharol. Ruth will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Sharol Lepp (Leonard) of Rivers; grandchildren Julie McNeill (Kent) of Winnipeg, Jolene Kober (Scott) of Calgary, Jayme Graham (Jon) of Abbottsford, and Roger (Samantha) Lepp of Rivers; great-grandchildren Mitchell, Kahlan and Mathias McNeill, Bennett, Levi and Sydney Kober, Jaxxon and Myah Graham and Reece, Ethan and Emmett Lepp. She was predeceased by her beloved husband John, as well as sister Jeanette Sneath and brother Bob Voodre. A Come and Go Memorial Reception will take place at McDiarmid Drive Alliance Church – All Purpose Room, 635 McDiarmid Drive, on Friday, May 11, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. with a time of reflection at 2:30 p.m. Pastor Darryl McAuley will officiate. Ruth will be laid to rest in a private ceremony at the Rivers Mennonite Cemetery, Rivers, Manitoba. Donations in memory of Ruth may be made to the Canadian Foodgrains Bank, P.O. Her presence will be greatly missed and never forgotten with our many treasured memories.
