Ruth Freund
It is with great sadness the family of Ruth Freund announces her peaceful unexpected passing on Sunday November 18, 2018 at Georgian Manor. Predeceased by her beloved husband Gunter. Beloved mother of Ronald (Sharon), Marlis Dupuis and Norman (Linda). Loving Oma of Adam, James (Sara), Tanis Loughran (Justin), Jordan (Ashley), Kristy, Brandon (Erin). Great-Oma of Addison, Zoey, and Kai. Dear sister of the late Georg and his late wife Irmgard. Ruth made generous contributions to her community through St. Paul’s United Church Woman’s Club and the Midland Lioness Club. Her baking skills will be greatly missed by her community and family. She will be lovingly remembered by many friends. Visitation will be held at the Nicholls Funeral Home (330 Midland Avenue, Midland) on Thursday November 22 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service at St. Paul’s United Church (308 King Street, Midland) on Friday November 23 at 3p.m. Interment at Lakeview Cemetery in the spring. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to St. Paul’s United Church or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
