Ruth Ann Caroline Wright, of Hanover, passed away at Hanover and District Hospital, on Saturday, May 19, 2018. She was 84.
Born on October 1, 1933, in Penetanguishene, Ontario, to the late John and Edythe (nee Turner) Adams. Ruth enjoyed her time as a member of the Hanover Legion, and cherished the many friendships and memories that resulted.
Survived by children Sharon (Larry) Schnurr of Mount Forest, James (Lee Ann) Rae of RR#7 Markdale, Elaine Oehring (Scott Cunningham) of Walkerton and David Rae (Raymonde) of Durham. Loved grandmother of Amy (Todd), Tina (John), Billy, Christopher (Tiffany), Nichole, Sherri (Jeremy) Shawn and Ginette. Dearly missed by great grandchildren Tyler, Danielle (Chris), Domanique, Deliza, Dharma, Angelina, Dareious, Delihla, Wiatt, Lukas, Joshua, Rydder, Nathan, Genesis and Skyler. Predeceased by her first husband William Rae, second husband Don Wright, son William Rae and her sister Verena McAulay.
Visitation will be held at Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover, on Wednesday, May 23, 2018, from 10 am until time of a Funeral Service at 11:00 am. Wanda Goodyear officiating. Cremation to follow, with inurnment in Durham Cemetery.
Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
