Obituary of Russell Coon
Russell Todd Coon
September 7, 1968 – October 23, 2018
It is with heavy hearts we mournfully announce the unexpected passing of Russell Coon.
Russell was born to Lester John Coon and Lillian Joyce Coon, raised in the David Thompson area, and currently resided in Fairview. He attended school in Hines Creek and after school started his career of jobs in the oilfield running heavy equipment. From there went to the drilling rigs, and well operating until his passing. He married Christina in 1993, and together they had two children Jessea and Kody. Russell’s favorite past time was sledding and quadding with family and friends. His Mexico trips were always the only time he wasn’t working whether be at his job or lending a helping hand to whomever needed it. Russell will be missed by everyone as he has touched many lives.
Russell is survived by his daughter Jessea (Tyrel), son Kody (Sarah), and his newest pride and joy granddaughter Aleigha, his sister Maureen (Merl), brother Greg (Carla), sister Carol (Jon), numerous nieces and nephews, great niece’s and nephews, and many more family and friends.
Russell is predeceased by his father Lester John Coon, his mother Lillian Joyce Coon, and his great niece Madison Paige Bjornson.
A celebration of life for Russell will take place Friday November 2, 2018 at the David Thompson Hall, at 2pm
