OBITUARY
Rufino De Guzman
20 June , 1944 – 27 March , 2018
It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the De Guzman family announce the peaceful passing of Rufino De Guzman in Etobicoke General Hospital on Tuesday, March 27, 2018. Rufino was a beloved husband of 50 years to the late Erlinda De Guzman (nee Cruz).
Rufino was greatly loved and will be dearly missed by his children: Grace (Mike) Galicia and Alex (Cathy) De Guzman. He will always be remembered and cherished by his grandchildren: Daniel, Jade, Noah, Matteo, Isabella and Christian. Rufino is survived by sister, Milagros Augustine and brothers, Mamento and Nano De Guzman. His memory will be held in the hearts of many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends, here and abroad.
The De Guzman family has definitely lost a beautiful soul. A soul that brought joy and fulfilment to many, and whose legacy will live on forever in his children, grandchildren and loved ones.
Family and friends may gather at the Andrews Community Funeral Centre – 8190 Dixie Road, Brampton (North of Steeles Avenue) 905-456-8190, on Sunday, April 1, 2018 from 2pm-7pm. A funeral mass will be held at St John Fisher Roman Catholic Church on Monday, April 2, 2018 at 10:30am. Interment at Assumption Catholic Cemetery, 6933 Tomken Rd in Mississaga.
