Obituary for
Rudolph « Rudy » Tosto
On August 6, 2018, Mr. Rudolph “Rudy” Tosto of Edmonton, formerly of Italy, peacefully passed away at the age of 90 years.
Rudy will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by his 3 daughters, Natalie (Shawn) Lawler, Clare Lazzer and Laura Tosto; grandchildren, Amanda (Jason) Duniec, Jared Byrne, Brandan Byrne, Joshua Lazzer, Michael Lazzer, Brent Lawler and Andrea Lawler; great-grandchildren, Dylan Duniec and Alayna Duniec; one sister and one brother, Josephine Oliverio and Mario Tosto, both of California. Predeceased by his wife, Tecla “Tillie” Tosto; sister, Fedora Rusconi; and brother, Julio Tosto.
The family would like to express their appreciation towards all the staff at Walden Heights Seniors Community and Unit 112 of the Foothills Hospital in Calgary for the exceptional care and compassion that he received.
Prayer Service Tuesday, August 14 at 7:00 p.m. at Santa Maria Goretti Roman Catholic Church, 9110 – 110 Avenue, Edmonton.
Funeral Mass, Wednesday, August 15 at 9:30 a.m. at Santa Maria Goretti Roman Catholic Church. Entombment in Holy Cross Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta, NWT & Nunavut, Suite 144, 5241 Calgary Trail N.W., Edmonton, AB, T6H 5G8
