Ruby Sadler (Richardson)
Sadler, Ruby Mae (nee Richardson) – It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Ruby in her 97th year at Henley House, St, Catharines, Ontario. After a long and fulfilling life she is now joining family and friends that are waiting.
Ruby was born August 9, 1922 to Lois & Frank Richardson of Cobalt, Ontario. She was predeceased by her loving husband Meredith (2004). Cherished Mother of Lynda (Roger) Bradshaw of St. Catharines and Keith (Sally) Sadler of Calgary, Alberta. Dearly loved Grandmother of Jeremy (Trish), Kevin (Jen) and Ryan (Hollie). Loving Great Grandmother of Liam, Katelyn, Brandon & Alyssa. Ruby was predeceased by her sisters Janet, Oddie and brother Ralph.
Ruby will be greatly missed and remembered for her big smile, gentle ways and her devotion to her husband and dance partner Sadie. She was a loving, caring, kind woman who was totally devoted to her family. She loved us all dearly and we are all the better for it.
A special thank you to all the staff at “Henley House” for their love and compassionate care, not just in the past few days but for Mom’s extended stay at the home. We are truly grateful to everyone for making her last years so special. Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
Those we have lost are never far away, they live forever in our hearts and in the memories that we share. A celebration of Ruby’s life will take place at a future date in Haileybury, Ontario.
