In Loving Memory of Ruby
McMaster, Ruby Doreen – passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Sunday, August 19, 2018 at the age of 86. Beloved wife of John Loewen. Dear mother of Jim McMaster (Kathy), Doug McMaster (Claudia), Sharon Muir (Wayne) and Brian McMaster (Erin). Grandma of Kaven (Heather), Brock, Michael, Nicolas (Agnes), Myles (Courtney), Megan (Tristen), Briana (Tom) and Codi. Also survived by 9 great grandchildren and her siblings Esther, Marilyn (the late Bob) and Harry (Jane). Predeceased by her siblings Rose, Doris, Gertrude and Bill. Ruby retired from Linhaven Nursing Home for over 23 years before retiring in 1993. She loved baking, cooking, wood working and time spent with family. We would like to thank the staff and doctors on the 4th floor of St. Catharines General Hospital for their compassion and care to our wife and mom. The McMaster family will receive visitors at PLEASANTVIEW FUNERAL HOME 2000 Merrittville Highway Thorold on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 from 7-9 p.m. The celebration of Ruby’s life will be held on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior.
