COTÉ, Roy Edwin – It is with profound sadness that our family announces the sudden passing of Roy on Sunday April 8, 2018 at the age of 75. Dearly loved husband of Patricia (Giuriato) Cote. Proud and loving father of David (Diana) Cote, Holly (Norman) Ocampo and Nicole (Scott) Pierotti. The light of his life were his five grandchildren whom he cherished and adored; Chloe and Madelaine Ocampo, Jessica Cote, Aidan and Daniel Pierotti. Dear son-in-law of Mary Giuriato. Dear brother of William (Louise) Cote, Marjorie (Don) Dion, Joyce Goldfinch, Eileen (Tim), Wendy, June and Lois Cote and brother-in-law of Diane and Mark Stirtzinger. Predeceased by his parents Archie and Elizabeth Cote, his brothers James, Robert, Patrick and Douglas and his sisters Patricia and Dorothy. Roy enjoyed a long career at General Motors, retiring after 40 years of service. He will be remembered by his family for the tremendous love he showed them and for his great generosity and zest for life. Friends are invited to call at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. visiting Wednesday 2-5 p.m. A Funeral Service in celebration of his life will be held on Thursday at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Cremation will follow with interment at a later date in Fairview Cemetery. In memory of Roy, donations to Autism Ontario (Niagara Chapter) would be appreciated by his family.
