Roy Osbourne
OSBOURNE, Roy Baxter – It is with great sadness that the family of Roy Baxter Osbourne announces his sudden passing on Wednesday, July 18th, 2018. Born December 10th, 1951 In Twillingate, NL, Roy was 66 years of age on the day of his passing. Roy will be lovingly remembered by his wife and best friend of 31 years, Ann; and his children: Mark (Amanda), Erin, and step daughter Sarah (Chris); granddaughters: Sadie and Alice. Roy will also be fondly remembered by his brother Howard (Juanita); two sisters: Ina, and Greta (James); half brothers: Ford (Beverly), Norm (Leona), and Bob; half sisters: Margaret, Ruby (Art), and Daisy (Chris). Roy was predeceased by his father Wilfred Baxter, and mother Leah Mae (nee Welshman); brother Bruce, and half brothers: George, David, and infant Roy. Roy honorably served his country for 20 years as a member of the Canadian Armed Forces, proudly representing the nation in his travels abroad. Visitation will be held at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl on Monday from 11am-2pm. A service to celebrate his life will be held on Monday, July 23, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. from Barrett’s Mount Pearl Chapel. Flowers gratefully accepted or donation may be made to a charity of ones choice.
